I Tried Golf VX’s Quantum Simulator. It Ruined Regular Sim Golf For Me.
A moving floor with more than 19,000 terrain variations means your sidehill lie actually feels sidehill. A sim upgrade for sure, but it’ll be a while before it hits the garage.
Wondering which golf tech is worth a closer look? I collect launch monitor reviews, simulator setups, rangefinders, shot-tracking stories and golf GPS coverage, with my take and direct links to the original reviews and reporting.

Getting 11 metrics without paying for a subscription is what sells it. Subscriptions are usually where these things get you.
A simulator setup that rolls away when you're done. I'd consider it for a garage that has to do more than golf.
No more screw in sensors, but $349.99 then $199.99 a year. Tangent golf app still takes the throne.
Five options under $500, and the Shot Scope LM1 is under $200. Basic stats at the range could do a lot for your club numbers.
Foresight's new GC2 doesn't give you club data. I'd trial it before I trusted it.
Tangent golf app is 1000 times better (use it with an Apple watch) than Arccos. The UI isn't even comparable.
This is pretty awesome. Users making courses with better graphics. The future of SIM golf is coming with a vengeance...
Good take on the LM1 on the course. Impressive monitor if you wanted an entry level device the size of your phone.
Looks interesting, but still not as good as Tangent Golf App.
$199 "Practice" launch monitor. For the price of a rangefinder you get to understand basic stats. This should fly off the shelves.
Can we add this setup to the garage? Excited that the digital experience in golf will only continue to get better.
Retails for $249 for the Motocaddy Range. This is a crowded space with many options.
Priced at $349.99, including a one year subscription of $199.99, this has to be great. There are so many sensorless companies would be curious to see how it performs with that price point.
A handheld with GPS but no laser to shoot the pin, not sure if this one makes it to the bag.
